What do I need to know before booking?

Before booking SIP Happens, here are a few important details to keep in mind: We require a suitable space for setup (typically around 2m x 2m) and easy access to the location. For outdoor events, a level surface and some form of shelter (like a marquee) is recommended in case of bad weather. Depending on your chosen package, you may need to supply the alcohol (dry hire option), or we can provide a fully stocked bar. We’re happy to guide you on quantities if needed. Access to power is helpful but not always essential, and water access is a bonus for certain setups. A deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due before your event date. Please note: if your venue has specific licensing rules, we’ll work with you to make sure everything runs smoothly and legally.

What information do you need for a quote?

To provide an accurate quote and make sure everything runs smoothly, we ask customers for a few key details:
  • Event date and location
  • Type of event (wedding, birthday, corporate, etc.)
  • Estimated number of guests
  • Duration of bar service required
  • Indoor or outdoor setup
  • Preferred package (dry hire or fully stocked bar)
  • Any specific drink requests or themes
It’s also helpful to know if the venue has any restrictions, as well as access details for setup (parking, power, etc.). Any changes in numbers/stock requests need to be made at least 72 hours before. The more information you can provide, the better we can tailor our service to your event and ensure everything runs perfectly on the day.
